Rehoboth Beach Delaware_May 2019

Posted in: Photography

I visited Rehoboth Beach Delaware for the first time on the weekend of May 17-19, 2019. I stayed at a wonderful bed and breakfast called “The Rehoboth Guest Beach House” located on 40 Maryland Avenue. I would highly recommended staying at the Rehoboth Guest Beach House. Every morning, there was a spectacular breakfast served from 8-10 am consisting of eggs, pancakes, fruit, bagels, muffins, sausage, coffee, juice, etc. The owner, Tom, and the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. The location itself was extremely beautiful providing plenty of photographic opportunities.

The purpose of the trip to Rehoboth Beach was to meet up with four other photographers for a photography expedition. The expedition was headed by Phyllis Berger, a photographer and instructor for the Johns Hopkins Odyssey Program at Johns Hopkins University. During our day and half expedition, we had the opportunity to meet and photograph many interesting residents, visitors, and animals. We also visited state parks, old military bases, and beaches. Also, found time to photograph the sunset.

While photographing on one of the beaches, we crossed paths with an interesting couple and their dog. The interaction between the couple and their fur baby prompted an impromptu photo session.

All in all, the photography expedition was an amazing experience. I look forward to visiting Rehoboth Beach Delaware again in the future.
